What Is a Luxewell Home

Wellness isn't an amenity. It's built into the walls.

Most luxury homes are designed for how they look. A Luxewell home is designed for how you feel in it — the air you breathe, the light through the day, the way you sleep, move, and recover. We design the systems, curate the specialists, and build a home that quietly keeps you well for decades.

Designed by Nature

Light, air, and the land — in every room.

Floor-to-ceiling glass and window-wall doors that open the house to the outdoors. Soaring ceilings and exposed timber. Reclaimed barnwood and stone, and daylight that follows the sun. Biophilic design isn't a style here — it's the whole point: a constant, calming connection to nature, wherever you stand.

The Framework

Every home built in three layers.

A ladder to climb, not an à-la-carte gadget list. Each layer maps to how the body actually stays well — with the systems and spaces to match.

Wealth held by Americans in the boomer generation and older — and they're upsizing, not downsizing.
The Wall Street Journal

"Boomers were supposed to downsize. They are buying bigger homes instead" — gourmet kitchens, guest houses, and homes designed for family, health, and aging well.

The Land

We design the land, not just the house.

Kitchen gardens and orchard rows. Room for hens, flowers, and a path worth walking every morning. A Luxewell home is planned so the living things around you are within eyesight and earshot — because the land is half the medicine. Want the full version of this life? Explore Heartwood →

About Us

Jared & Annette Thurmon

We didn't come to wellness from a spa. We came to it from a job site and a hospital floor.

Jared grew up in construction and development — building senior living communities, and learning early how deeply the places we live shape how well we age. Annette spent her career as an ICU charge nurse, at the bedside when health finally caught up with people.

From both ends, we kept seeing the same truth: health isn't a vacation you take, a pill you swallow, or a protocol you run for thirty days. It's a lifestyle — and it starts with the home you live in every day.

That's why we build Luxewell homes. Not luxury for its own sake, but a foundation for a longer, healthier, happier life — the kind we want for our own family, and for yours.

Good Questions

What people ask us first.

Where do you build?

North and Northwest Georgia to start — roughly within 90 minutes of Adairsville and the north side of Atlanta. Building on your land or helping you find it.

What does a Luxewell home cost?

New builds typically begin around $1.5 million, land excluded, and scale with size and the depth of the wellness systems. Renovations and system retrofits are scoped case by case.

How long does it take?

Design and engineering usually run 3–5 months; construction 12–16 months depending on scope. Wellness systems are designed in from day one — never bolted on.

Who actually builds the home?

Luxewell designs the home and its wellness systems, curates every specialist, and verifies the result. Construction is delivered with our builder partner — three decades of homebuilding in this region. You'll meet them by name in your first consultation.

Can you upgrade the home I already own?

Yes. Air, water, light, and recovery systems can be retrofitted. The assessment is the right first step — it shows exactly where your home stands.

How does financing work?

Most clients use a standard construction loan through their own bank or a builder-experienced lender; we coordinate draws and documentation with your lender throughout the build.
